I had a conversation with friend recently, we were discussing "if there are so many ads in the classified offering jobs, and there are sooooooo many people looking for employment why is it sometimes we see the same jobs week after week after week." There must be SOMEONE out there that fits the bill. At least ONE of the of the unemployed must be employable.
Is it that some employers want your labor nor next to nothing or you are better off with unemployment. Is it that the jobs are just not appealing enough it is just not worth it of worth getting up for? Our measuring cup for self worth is marked differently but whatever the reason is for denying or accepting a job is left up to the individual. Frankly they need not explain themselves of their decision.
There are jobs out there; good paying jobs; but usually it boils down to who you know (yup I said it!) and who knows you or how strong your network is. But for those who have neither clout will have to stick to the old fashion way, resume writing (Internet search), classified, job fairs etc. That method still works!
